Contest type: Online - Creative thinking
Prizes:
Grand prize: A pair of return air-tickets from singapore to shanghai plus 4D/3N Hotel Accommodation as well as 2x World Expo 2010 Visitor Passes
Best in theme prize: 6x $500 Cash
People's Choice Award: World Expo 2010 souvenirs for the top rated idea and 3 voters.
Closing date: 31th December 2008
Others: This contest is about contributing ideas on how to enhance the Singapore pavilion. Tell us what you think is the best of Singapore.

Q & A
Q. What am I supposed to contribute?
STB is looking for ideas for the 5 different sub-themes – Communities, Culture, Economy, Rural-Urban Linkages and Science & Technology, as well as alternatives to our pavilion’s working theme “City of Possibilities, Transforming Lives”.

However, the overarching theme for World Expo 2010, Better City, Better Life is not subject to change. Instead, it should help guide you in the formulation of your various ideas.

To further assist in the creation of your ideas, they should be able to be classified under any of the below 4 entry types.

Design & Concepts
Concept write-ups, design drawings, sketches, visual inspirations etc that help articulate the themes.

Technologies/Exhibitions
The specific types of technologies and exhibits that can bring our stories and theme/ sub-themes alive.

Personal Stories
Personal stories of everyday heroes whose actions have done Singapore proud. From people of note to even neighbours who’ve volunteered overseas, tell their stories so we can feature them at our pavilion.

Others
Any other ideas to enhance visitors’ experiences at the Singapore pavilion.

Q. What will I be judged on?
Entries will be judged on their creativity and ability to capture the essence of Singapore within the context of the working theme for the Singapore pavilion, and the five sub-themes of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Your idea’s feasibility and the submission’s quality will also be judged on. The better your supporting material (such as illustrations or videos etc), the higher your chances of winning!
